Products and Services

• Bill Payer Accounts

  If you need assistance in paying your bills for any reason, we can set up a special account from which we will pay your bills and provide a record of payments to you.

• Corporate Trust Services

  We will serve as trustee, transfer agent, and registrar for municipal and corporate bond issues.

• Custodial Services

  We will hold your securities and perform the administrative chores involved in owning securities.

• Escrow Services

  We will hold documents and securities in safekeeping, collect payments under contracts, and hold funds subject to Escrow Agreements.

• Estate Administration

  We will secure, value, and inventory all assets, settle the decedent's obligations, pay all taxes, and distribute assets in accordance with the will of the decedent. We will also act as agent for an individual personal representative, providing services that the personal representative is unable to perform.

• Guardianships

  We will prepare court inventories and accountings, participate in attorney conferences, file insurance claims, prepare tax returns, pay bills, and otherwise manage and invest the individual's assets.

• Individual Retirement Accounts

  We administer all Individual Retirement Accounts that are invested in bank CDs. In addition to annual deposits, customers may rollover lump-sum distributions from a
  401(k) or other qualified plan into an IRA. Customers interested in investing their IRA in mutual funds are referred to Millennium Financial Services, Inc.

• Irrevocable Funeral Trusts

  You can establish an irrevocable funeral trust for funeral expenses prior to your death. In conjunction with the funeral home of your choice, we will act as trustee of your funeral trust funded with DeMotte State Bank certificates of deposit or with paid up life insurance.

• Investment Agencies

  Through a written letter of direction we will assume responsibility for certain specified duties regarding your investments.

• Land Trusts

  We will act as trustee of land trusts. Land trusts are generally used to shelter the beneficiaries of the trust from the general public or as an estate planning tool. DeMotte State Bank, as trustee of a land trust, is owner of record of real estate; however, the beneficiary retains the power to direct the trustee's actions.

• Trust Administration

  We will professionally manage your assets and, at your death, continue to oversee distribution of your assets pursuant to the goals and objectives established in your trust agreement.
